After a couple of weeks break we will be back this weekend with the new UK Top 40 Singles and an updated web site.
Also we have news of a new site being put together which will 'only' have internet radio stations listed that play the Top 40 music. We understand that besides ourselves, Oz Radio (playing the Australian Top 40 each week), New York Web Radio (playing the US Top 40 each week), Red Babe (playing the Russian Top 40 each week) will be on there from the KryKey network.
London Web Radio has also as of the last week in December decided to 'opt out' of the ranking system on KryKey due to continuing manipulation of some Italian and Greek radio stations of their listener numbers which distorted the real positions. KryKey had a weekly battle to contain this problem but in the end decided to give up the time spent on this to use it (time) better on its next version. We like some other radio stations do not understand why these radio stations think its so important to 'cheat' to get their ranking higher. Are they that insecure and childish that this makes them feel good? Its not like there are cash prizes each week for the higher rankings.
